As Chinese Decendant, we celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival or Mooncake Festival during 15 August in the Lunar Calendar.During this festival, children will gather at parents place to have dinner and after that kids will play with their lanterns and eat mooncakes under the full moon.
When I was a kid, I look forward to play Lanterns with my cousins.
So I think this is a good tradition to pass on to our next generation.. to foster relationship between families..
My son and his cousin enjoyed their nights lighting up their traditional laterns with candles around the car porch.. :)
